An idea, shared by a parent with Myong Covert, President of the Boulder Creek High School PTA has finally been completed. The mural, showcasing the high school’s jaguar mascot with the school’s name is proudly displayed on the highest point of the front buildings, right above the mini auditorium of the Performing Arts Center. With the approval of Principal Mrs. Sheahan, Anthem School’s art teacher, Lindsey Boggs was commissioned to bring to life the logo. Ms. Boggs painted the logo on multiple steel panels and they were installed directly onto the cement blocks.
The PTA feels honored to have brought this mural to the high school along with the class of 2009. The class of 2009 contributed $1500 towards this project as their senior gift to the high school. It’s tradition that the graduating senior classes present the school with a parting gift. This gift will be celebrated for years to come. Many people worked many hours and years to complete this “spirit logo” addition to the BC campus. Thank you all!
